Comment: Good product and improved over previous design...open at bottom so you can view how full the cup is getting so no overflow. New handle design is also an improvement.

Summary: Simple but functional
Comment: The principle of operation is so simple that it's hard to mess it up. It's a plastic cone with a hole in the bottom, attached to a wide disk that sits on top of your mug. (Most mugs will fit, except maybe some really huge ones.) You put coffee in a filter in the cone, set the device on your mug, and add hot water. There's also a handle to pick it up by.
It works quite well, but I have two minor gripes. It could be bigger: if you fill the cone to the top with hot water, you can fill a really small mug. It also has some crevices that are a little hard to clean if you should get anything disgusting in there.
They give you a packet with half a dozen filters sized to fit. When those run out, you can probably use just about any filters that are big enough, which isn't much of a restriction (see above).

Comment: What more could you want? This simple cone does the job easily and effectively, lasts forever, and costs not much more than a decent cup of coffee at a cafe.

Comment: Are you a maverick who likes to get all mavericky? Well, if you are, this is the item for you! No more sharing coffee in the coffee club at work - just make your own cup of whatever you like. How's that for being a maverick? Do you only want to make one cup but don't want instant? This is for you. Are you at camp and have no electricity? This is for you! Takes #2 cone filters - available pretty much everywhere, and about 1 tbs of your favorite ground coffee, more or less to taste, and hot water.

Comment: While i wouldn't have this for everyday use, its a great little item if your electric coffee maker conks out. the only issue I found is that it requires almost double the amount of coffee than a regular drip coffee maker does.
